Researchers have placed specialised tracking collars on herbivores that graze near rhinos and when they sense a poaching threat and their stress levels are elevated, data is sent to the database.
This enables rangers to find potential threats before rhinos are killed and is a huge breakthrough in the fight against them becoming extinct.
