4 Reasons to Book A Stay at Our Limpopo Game Lodge Accommodation
The Limpopo province in South Africa is a popular destination for a game lodge stay, as accommodation in the area is easy to come by. But if you are looking for something a little more exceptional than a typical bushveld vacation, then a visit to our world-class Fifty Seven Waterberg lodge is in order. Whether you are seeking a mini weekend vacation or a romantic getaway for two, allow us to be your first-class favourite.
Wide Range of Flora and Fauna to Spot
Our game lodge accommodation is set in the Welgevonden Game Reserve, which is part of the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve in Limpopo. In 2001, UNESCO declared this reserve to be an official World Heritage Site, which attracts visits from all over the world. The Welgevonden Reserve, which has an area size of 35 000 hectares, boasts the Big Five animals, over 50 different mammal species, and 300 bird species – not to mention a wide variety of indigenous plant life. The mountainous bushveld offers a temperate climate, which makes it a popular spot all-year-round.
Top-Class, Luxury Game Lodge Accommodation
If you are seeking Limpopo game lodge accommodation that focuses on bringing each guest five-star elegance, then you cannot go wrong with us at Fifty Seven Waterberg. We accommodate only 20 guests in our 10-suite lodge, and each room is privately located with ample room to relax and unwind. The intimate, tranquil setting of every suite features a king-sized bed, private patio, and an awe-inspiring view of the game reserve and its animals. You might even spot an elephant or two from your deck.
Delicious, Five-star Cuisine
What would five-star accommodation be without five-star cuisine? We offer mouth-watering fine dining with cuisine made from only the freshest, tastiest ingredients. Our dishes are a sensory explosion that nourishes not only the body but the soul too.
Innovative Conservation Efforts
Many of our guests are absolute nature-lovers and take an active interest in the plight of endangered animals, such as rhinos. For this reason, the Welgevonden Reserve in Limpopo, which nestles our lodge, along with the help of the University of Wageningen, MTN, and IBM, have implemented a Wildlife Protection Programme that uses an algorithm that tracks the behavioural patterns of prey animals. Through certain behaviours, these animals alert the team when a threat is near, and the team can thus investigate whether or not poachers have entered the premises and how they are moving. In this way, poaching is minimised significantly.
