Wildlife Accommodation with a Wow Effect in the Waterberg
The African bushveld has an allure that is totally unique. Among its other characteristics, it is this attraction, mystery, and fascination that draws people in from near, far, and wide. There are the sounds, smells, and sensations of being part of nature as it is meant to be: natural and devoid of signs and sights of human habitation and human intervention.
Wildlife First
First and foremost, there is the wildlife, ranging from tiny creatures that the uninitiated usually overlook, an enormous variety of indigenous vegetation without which wildlife could not and would not flourish and thrive, to the giants of the African wild animal kingdom, the famous Big Five.
Accommodation Required
In order to fully appreciate the pristine African bushveld and its diverse wildlife that is found in the Waterberg in South Africa’s Limpopo Province, you simply must spend a few days (or longer) there. You will require accommodation.
Home of Wildlife and Fifty Seven Waterberg’s Accommodation
Limpopo’s Welgevonden Game Reserve in the Waterberg is a private wildlife park, which is home to the area’s rich wildlife population – in abundance, so your chances of seeing all types of game animals, including the Big Five, during your stay are better than average. Welgevonden is also the home of our five-star game lodge, Fifty Seven Waterberg, where guests enjoy luxurious accommodation and world-class facilities in the heart of Waterberg wildlife habitat.
World Heritage Site
Welgevonden and Fifty Seven Waterberg fall within the Waterberg Biosphere Reserve, a World Heritage Site, proclaimed as such by UNESCO in 2001. Having a five-star game lodge in such an esteemed location is both an honour and privilege, as is extending genuine South African warm hospitality and world-class accommodation to our guests who come to Fifty Seven to experience our diverse wildlife in untamed natural terrain.
Five 5-Star Accommodation Chalets
Like Welgevonden Game Reserve, Fifty Seven Waterberg also enjoys private status, so entry to the wildlife park and our lodge is restricted to visitors who have confirmed bookings for their accommodation, as guests at Fifty Seven Waterberg.
Our five-star accommodation consists of five private, thatched, exceptionally spacious chalets, which are larger than many modern, compact city apartments or townhouses. Floor to ceiling, glass-paned sliding doors lead from the chalets’ elegant interiors to attached private outdoor patios or decks, which overlook the beautiful bushveld. Fully equipped en suite bathrooms also offer views of our wildlife habitat, ensuring that guests do not miss a moment of what the Waterberg has to offer.
When you want luxury accommodation, fine dining, privacy, discreet personal service, and great guided game drives to experience the African bushveld and wildlife in the Waterberg, you will want to reserve your accommodation at Fifty Seven Waterberg.
